A Night of Beautiful Women and Sunsilk Hair

It was no ordinary night as Whitespace cosmopolitan events venue in Makati was filled with beautiful ladies, Sunsilk & Unilever managers, and lifestyle personalities last July 16, 2010.


More importantly we were joined by Sunsilk celebrity endorser Sarah Geronimo and Sunsilk Co-Creations international hair experts Yuko Yamashita and Teddy Charles.

The night started by 6pm as guests were welcomed with cocktails and some food. This was followed by a fashion show representing each of the colors of the New Best Ever Sunsilk Co-Creations shampoo.

Sarah Geronimo came out of the stage and walked the runway with a long black hair and a meekly smile.

The Sunsilk Co-Creations International Hair Experts

Sunsilk has worked with internationally renowned hair experts including Francesca Fusco and Tom Taw to create salon-quality products for all hair types. Their role was to provide valuable insight and knowledge to help create brilliant new products, working alongside the brand’s technical teams to produce brilliant new formulations.

Two of the 7 Sunsilk Co-Creations international hair experts came that night: Yuko Yamashita and Frenchman Teddy Charles.

Yuko Yamashita, a Japanese hair stylist and salon owner, is the smooth hair expert. Yuko wanted her customers including many celebrities to have beautiful, straight and healthy hair without spending hours.

Teddy Charles is the shapes and length expert. Teddy has been creating fabulous looks since he was a teenager in France and has a world-class range of high profile partnerships. He has worked with photographers such as Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Glen Luchford, Mikael Jansson and Karl Lagerfield. Magazines such as French, Italian, American and Teen Vogue, i-D, V, Numero, and Vogue Nippon have all picked up on his inspirational range of work. Having worked with Calvin Klein and GAP, Teddy’s creations come to life on the catwalk and his hair styles have been seen at Luca and Luca, Marchesa, Rag & Bone and Sari Gueron shows. A-list celebrities have been equally quick to recognize his talents, as illustrated by his impressive clientele including Sarah Jessica Parker, Blake Lively and Hayden Panettiere.
