'Beauty By SM' Reveals Makati Flagship Store

Beauty by SM officially made its mark in cosmopolitan Manila’s beauty industry in an evening of fashion and beauty in the first month of this year.
With the theme “Beauty Expert Behind the Scenes,” SM Makati was officially introduced to partners, beauty professionals, and guests as the flagship store and what it had to offer in the retail beauty-scape. It was concluded by a fashion show and live photo shoot in the evening by renowned event extraordinaire Robby Carmona and glamour photographer Niccolo Cosme, respectively.

The fashion show’s cosmetics was handled by Makeup Forum with designs from SM Ladies Fashion and SM Accessories,

Earlier, hosts Tim Yap and Karen Pamintuan took the guests through the Beauty Trade Show with stopovers at different Skincare, Hair Care, Fragrance, Health & Wellness, Personal Care, and Cosmetics brands including Paco Rabanne, Nivea, and products by Lab Works and Sally Hansen.
I was glad to find a dedicated area for men's products called the Men’s Zone. Manny  Pacquiao’s poster was on the wall for a branded anti-dandruff shampoo (lol).
 I missed Daphne Osena-Paez and Angel Aquino who were at the early part of the event. Other guests were Ms. Tessie Sy-Coson of SM Group of Companies, Mr. Martin So, CEO for Health and Beauty Asia - AS Watson, and Mr. Robert McDonald, Global CEO of Procter & Gamble.
“The launch of our flagship store is timely because we have noticed that the tastes of our customers have experienced an upgrade,” said Victoria Encarnacion, Beauty by SM Director for Marketing.

 SM Makati’s brand new beauty hall boasts of 1,390 square meters of 7,000 unique products, 72 fragrance brands, 36 cosmetic brands, and 52 skin care brands, and 16 exclusive brands including Tri-Aktiline, Clinelle, Colorescience, 4U2, Ardell, Kiss, Beauty Credits, and Ianti.
